What to Include in a Brand Referral

Reader question: What should I include when I refer a brand to a wholesale distributor?

Short answer: Share accurate brand contacts, category fit, packaging or compliance notes, and why the line matters for retailers—without promising that sourcing will follow.

Useful referral details

  • Brand or manufacturer legal name and website
  • Primary contact name, email, and role if known
  • Product categories (for example toys, grocery, home)
  • Known case or pallet notes, if you have them
  • Why the brand fits stores or marketplaces you serve

What not to invent

Do not claim authorized relationships, exclusive rights, or guaranteed inventory. A referral starts a conversation; it does not create a supplier partnership by itself.

How Dainty Drift uses referrals

Brand referrals route to brands@daintydriftllc.com. Our team may follow up with the brand or with you for clarification. Listing a brand in our directory is separate from accepting a referral.

Submit a brand referral, or if you represent a manufacturer, use the supplier partnership form instead.
